5. Pengaruh hindu budha terhadap indonesia :

1.       Bidang agama

Sebelum Hindu Buddha  masuk ke Indonesia, kepercayaan yang dianut di Indonesia adalah animisme dan dinamisme. Tapi setelah hindu Buddha masuk ke Indonesia, kepercayaan ini tidak ditinggalkan begitu saja, tetapi telah terjadi pencampuran (akulturasi) diantara keduanya. Hal ini dilihat dari segi pemujaan dewa-dewa dan roh nenek moyang

2.       Bidang politik/pemerintahan

Sebelum hindu Buddha masuk ke Indonesia, masyarakat Indonesia masih terdiri atas kelompok-kelompok yang dipimpin oleh kepala suku. Tetapi setelah hindu Buddha datang ke Indonesia, kepala suku pun digantikan oleh raja yang dianggap sebagai keturunan dari dewa yang memiliki kekuatan, suci dan hampa. Hal ini tentunya akan memperkuat kedudukan raja untuk memerintah wilayah kerajaan secara turun-temurun.

3.       Bidang social

Setelah hindu Buddha masuk ke Indonesia, terjadi perubahan terhadap tata kehidupan masyarakat Indonesia. Misalnya dalam masyarakat hindu diperkenalkan system kasta dan dalam masyarakat Buddha diperkenalkan golongan biksu dan biksuni

4.       Bidang arsitektur

Pengaruh hindu Buddha dalam bidang arsitektur dapat dilihat dari bangunan candi. Meskipun bangunan candi merupakan pengaruh dari India, namun dalam arsitektur nya terdapat perpaduan dengan arsitektur punden berundak-undak pada zaman megalitikum

5.       Bidang seni rupa/lukis

Unsur seni rupa atau seni lukis India telah masuk ke Indonesia. Hal ini terbukti dengan telah ditemukannya area Buddha berlanggam Gandara di kota Bangun, Kutai. Juga patung Buddha berlanggam Amarawati ditemu-kan di Sikendeng (Sulawesi Selatan). Seni rupa India pada Candi Borobudur ada pada relief-relief ceritera Sang Buddha Gautama. Relief pada Candi Borobudur pada umumnya lebih menunjukkan suasana alam Indonesia, terlihat dengan adanya lukisan rumah panggung dan hiasan burung merpati. Di samping itu, juga terdapat hiasan perahu bercadik. Lukisan-lukisan tersebut merupakan lukisan asli Indonesia, karena lukisan seperti itu tidak pernah ditemukan pada candi-candi yang ada di India.

6. Prasasti merupakan batu besar yang telah diukir yang sudah ada dari zaman kerajaan dulu prasasti mengambarkan tentang suatu keadaan pada zaman kerajaan dahulu.

7. Kitab merupakan buku yang berisi tulisan yang digunakan pembaca agar bisa mengetahui tentang pengetahuan yang ada di dalamnya.
